Third Party Liability

What does it cover?

• Insurance death and personal injuries to third parties, including the driver and the occupants of the vehicle,  as well as material damages to third parties up to € 1.220.000.

• Material damages from uninsured vehicle up to the amount of € 30.000.

What does it not cover?

• Theft of personal objects that are on or in the vehicle.

• Damage to the vehicle.
   

Insurance and other coverage

• Car4u provides primary limited liability insurance protection at no additional charge.

• Protection applies to the customer and additional authorised drivers against liability to third parties, in case of an accident.

• Damages to the Car4u vehicles are not covered.

• Collision Damage Waiver is an optional service which relieves you of some responsibility for damage to the rental car, provided that the vehicle is used in accordance to the terms of the rental agreement.

Car insurance

• Cost is included in the final rental cost of a car.

Driver’s licence

• At the time of rental the renter must present a valid driver’s lisence that was been held for a minimum of one year.

• An international driver’s lisence is also recommended.

Age Restrictions

• The minimum rental age is 23 years.

Method of payment

• Car4u Rental Services accepts cash and most major Credit Cards.

Fuel

• Fuel consumption is a responsibility of the renter.

Online Booking Terms

• Contact us at least 3 days before your preferred date of booking.

• A 30% deposit is required for online booking.

About online booking cancellations:

• Deposit fee is fully refundable if cancellation is made three weeks before booking starts.

• If cancellation is made in less than 3 weeks, a 10% cancellation fee will be applied.

• By continuing and completing the online booking process, you agree to these terms.
   

Driver's Licence

• Renter's drivers licence must be issued at least one year before the rental date.

• Renter must have a Driver's Licence that has been issued from a European Union country member or must have an International Driver's Licence.

• The International Driver's Licence must be accompanied with the National Driver's Licence of the Renter.

• There is no extra fees if there is a second driver.

Taxes

• Taxes are included in the final rental cost.

Child’s Seat

• Free of charge.Available only after reservation.

Traditional Offenses

• The driver of the vehicle occupying himself / herself, and in the absence of the driver, the keeper of the vehicle, shall be regarded as an infringer of the provisions regulating parking.

• If the vehicle belongs to a rental company and is leased, the lessee is the offender who is the lessee.
